We believe in and work for diversity and value the differences in our community.

We are all about community. We gather together to learn new and better ways to approach coding challenges.

We are grateful to Jim Freeze, organizer extraordinaire, for all his work in developing this community. We are excited to see where go in 2020 and beyond! Check out the archives of the conference at LonestarElixirConf!

 Frequently Asked Questions
Who are we?
We are a 2-day single track conference (with one extra day of training) primarily focused on the Elixir programming language. This year the conference will be Thursday/Friday and the training day will be on Saturday! Dates are February 27-29, 2020.
Talks from leaders in the industry range from beginner to advanced and from business use and case to coding education.
Some of our attendees play with Elixir as a side project, some use it in full time career positions. If you are curious or if you are experienced, there is something here for you. The conference provides breakfast and lunch onsite for attendees. Each day has plenty of social opportunities to network and build community.
What is changing?
This year we are working on diversity initiatives and giving the conference more of an Austin feel.
